ANNA KARENINA Fashion Inspiration FALL 2013

As I told you in my previous POST dedicated to ANNA KARENINA there are  three main trend you can choose within to be a fashionista next winter: 

1) THE RUSSIAN ARISTOCRACY OPULENT STYLE: furs are a must have (even if we prefer the fake ones), pearls, jewels (Chanel necklaces and earrings were the stars in this movie) brocade and velvet coats with trimmed particulars, fans, laces and feathers (Christian Siriano, Marchesa, Tory Burch, Ralph Lauren, Dennis Basso, Oscar De La Renta, Pamella Roland, L'Wren Scott)

2) THE GREAT ARMY STYLE: military green & grey overcoat, large leather belts, flash and star shaped pins, high or heavy boots (Christophe Lemaire, Aquilano Rimondi, Dondup, Byblos, Prabal Gurung, Ralph Lauren, Prada, St. John)

3) THE PEASANT COUNTRY ETHNIC STYLE: long heavy tunic as coat, large trousers, but also heavy flowered trimmed pattern for skirts and blouses, fur hat and gloves (Band of Outsiders, MSGM, BCBG Max Azria, Brandon Sun, Christophe Lamaire, Libertine, Maliparmi, Assembly)
