REWIND: The Help by Tate Taylor

“The Help,” the big-screen adaptation of Kathryn Stockett’s best-selling novel, is set in Jackson, Missisipi, at the dawn of the Civil Rights era, to be exact in 1962.

For costume designer Sharen Davis, that meant hyper-feminine dresses in Easter egg shades, with bold floral prints, modest necklines and full skirts nipped at the waist. 

Great attention was paid on details: patent leather structured handbags with matching shoes, pearl choker necklaces and cluster earrings, cat’s eye sunglasses and garden party-festive hats.Chose your favorite and show the world your retro chic style!!!
