Costume designer Arianne Phillips ( " A Single Man", "Walk the Line", "3:10 to Yuma" and "The Crow") made such a great work on the set of Madonna last movie "W./E.". Recreate Wallis Simpson's wardrobe was for sure a hard job considering she was one of the best dressed women in the world. Edward VIII's wife always showed off such a great taste for clothes and jewels, in particularly (Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Verdura...). In this movie you can find all the glamour and elegance of those years and you can be inspired by a lot of ideas for a vintage wardrobe without parallel !!!
